Ancient site with rustic gathering spaces

Fernhill Farm is a great destination for all sorts of events all year round - located just half an hour from Bristol we hire out our large party barn at weekends to those wanting a DIY eco-venue.

Open all-year-round, whatever the weather, we operate as a self-catering with BYO (bring your own) drinks for the lounge bar areas, helping you create that exclusive-use vibe for your tribe.

The Horseshoe Barns are underfloor heated, refurbished cattle barns, equipped with all your needs, making this eco-venue an ideal base for our smaller gatherings from 10–200 guests, depending on room layouts.

When the Summer heats up and guest lists grow, you have the option to upscale to the Hay Shed for live music events that can sprawl out across the land to recreate that Fernhill Farm Festival Experience.

Both our our venues offer exclusive use spaces, with kitchens, dining areas, bar furniture, washrooms, range of accommodation units, access to field spaces if required, and ample free on-site, emission free parking.

Please always check with us for availability as we block out summer weekends on our online accommodation calendars to ensure groups have time to consider our proposal and thus, we aim to keep more dates available for your events.

Welcoming Stag & Hen weekends

Our favourite groups are STAG PARTIES so don’t be shy fellas, we have hosted hundreds and thank you all for supporting our farm the most of any group that ever heads this way.

Renowned for our meat boxes, we offer breakfast and BBQ packs, huge baskets of logs for the fires and recommendations for local ales, ciders, activities and mini bus hire too.

Looking for more reasons to come and stay - good friends of ours have set up Orchard Park Activities where you can stay here and book a minibus to travel down from the Mendip Hills, with your Fernhill Farm BBQ box, so after your days activities, you can enjoy truly regenerative meat whilst being entertained in their cider barn, sampling and tasting your favourite, home-grown, locally made Somerset ciders for a true Taste of the West.

We have 5 kitchens, 26 toilets, 10 showers and beds to sleep 40+ guests with camping options available in the warmer months, and regularly accept multiple group bookings for stags, hens, STEN weekends and weekend parties.
