Fernhill Farm is a 160-acre site on top of the Mendip Hills National Landscape, less than an hour from the centre of Bristol, Bath and close to Cheddar and Wells.

Acquired in a derelict state 28 years ago, Andy and Jen and their two sons Kyle and Seth manage over 3000 livestock in nomadic rotations, growing verified regenerative meats, wool and leathers whilst building biodiversity every step of this trusted way - growing your food, fibres and fuel.

Over the years the farm has played host to many different events from private workshops to 20,000-person festivals - we listen to your ideas and help you bring to life your perfect event - together.

We have invested in rustic and real spaces with many of the facilities you need, and with over 20 years of hosting events, we know a few things about welcoming people on the land, in harmony with our resident livestock and wildlife populations.

Fernhill Farm promotes an ecologically responsible outlook on life, and this has to be part of the events that happen on our land. We tread lightly on our land and respect our grasslands that protect this farm and its natural habitats – we offer a “Fernhill Farm guide to regenerative Festivals” to achieve this concept:

  • 2 large venue spaces

  • Farm tracks offering all weather access points from highways and car parks

  • 3 phase power available on site

  • Solar electricity with battery storage

  • Mains water & grey water harvesting

  • Washrooms and outside toilet blocks are connected to the on-site water purification (WET) system

  • Log boiler and solar thermal heating

  • Satellite internet available by special request.

Get in touch with your enquiry and please note, we are a working livestock farm - if your looking for ‘tarmac and flower beds’, then this is not our intention on this little piece of our struggling planet - nature is wild and free where it can be, and so are we - thanks for your time reading this page, we are here to help, Andy and Jen

Please always check with us for availability. We block out large sections of the summer on our online accommodation calendars to ensure they remain available for our ideal events.
